Casa Rogelio Inchauspi Bastida: a jewel in the hands of the same family for a long time. Former Consulate of Spain, it preserves all the charm of the time. A marvel, with huge rooms and a lot of comfort.

Exceptional location! Very central (you can walk to any place of interest). Located on Calle Desengaño (one of the oldest in Trinidad), very close to Playa Mayor and Parque Central. Surrounded by services and offers: museums, palaces, typical streets, the House of Rum and Tobacco, the House of Music, craft shops, art galleries and the Viazul Bus Terminal (200m away). And, despite its extraordinary situation, the house is very calm and quiet.
Home
A historic home (built in the 17th century), with great comfort and an exceptional location (located in the very heart of Trinidad). Magnificently well preserved (exterior, interior, furniture...), it was the first pharmacy in the town. In 1899, it housed the first Consulate of Spain (outside of Havana). It has always been governed by the same family, with the current owners and hosts being direct descendants.
High-rise building and spacious and majestic rooms, where the high terrace stands out (a magnificent viewpoint), the 100% colonial interiors and the excellent general conservation of the old building.

Equipped with outdoor furniture, it has 360º panoramic views. You can see the whole city and offer some truly spectacular sunrises and sunsets!

There are three huge bedrooms, on the first floor (access by stairs, no elevator). Very spacious, with bathroom and private room. Independent entrance and complete privacy. Interconnecting rooms, perfect for large families.

The MaxiCuba agency has awarded this hostel as "Charming House". It is only granted to accommodations that, costing the same as many others, exceed most of them. In this case, the impeccable location, the history of the building, the fabulous views from the roof terrace, the high quality of the interior, the comfort of the rooms and the quality of the breakfasts were highly valued.
